Endless Check is a fast-paced, turn-based roguelike that strips Chess down to its most lethal essentials. On this cramped 5x5 battlefield, every move is a death sentence.

Command an evolving squad of units, purchase game-altering modifiers, and survive 8 rounds of escalating tactical warfare. In this game, you don’t play for a draw. You play for the King.

Core Features

• Tactical Roguelike Combat: Navigate 24 increasingly difficult battles. With a 5x5 grid, there is nowhere to hide.
• Build Your Battalion: Start with a humble King and Pawns, then expand your roster. Will you hoard Rooks for raw power or use high-mobility Knights to strike from afar?
• Game-Altering Modifiers: Visit the Shop after every battle to change the feel of the game. Make your Pawns move like Knights, grant your King the ability to move like a Queen, or give in to greed and gain more gold per capture!
• The Point-Buy Challenge: The enemy doesn’t play fair. As you get stronger, the enemy's "budget" increases, allowing them to field elite squads designed to shut down your strategy.
• Snappy, Minimalist Design: Endless Check focuses on readable boards, high-contrast silhouettes, and satisfying tactical feedback.

How to Play

1. Deploy: Start each run with a basic team.
2. Capture: Defeat the enemy King to win the battle and earn Coins.
3. Adapt: Spend your gold in the Shop to buy new pieces or permanent passive modifiers.
4. Conquer: Survive 8 Rounds (3 battles each) to claim the crown.
5. Endless Mode: Once you defeat the final round, aim for the sky and see how far you can push your team with Endless mode!

Note: There is no "Checkmate" here—only capture. If your King falls, the run is over.
